Global Water Rights Academic Lecture at Corpus Christi College in Vancouver, BC

On March 11, 2020, Global Water Rights co-founders, Luthfi Dhofier and Dr. Ross Michael Pink presented "Climate Change Impacts in India, Indonesia, and Japan: Challenges and Opportunities" at Corpus Christi College. The lecture highlighted the challenges that climate change presents in the above countries, and the possible mitigation and adaptation options.

                      Dr. Ross Michael Pink Presented "Climate Change Issues" Seminar at Kwantlen Polytechnic University
Global Water Rights Co-founder, Dr Ross Michael Pink and Vancouver Artist Nigel Zhao presented a unique climate change seminar that featured climate discussions with original works of art, created by Mr. Zhao. The event was hosted by the distinguished KPU TALK program of public lectures on November 27, 2018.
                                                     GWR Visit to the Asia Centre for Biodiversity in the Philippines
Global Water Rights' Co-founder Dr. Ross Michael Pink at the Asia Centre for Biodiversity (ACB) at the University of the Philippines Los Banos. The ACB is sponsored by ASEAN. Dr. Pink had the opportunity to meet with the senior leadership of the ACB and learned firsthand about their innovative work on climate change and sustainability. ACB has done an array of research on biodiversity projects and fuel that provide environmentally friendly alternatives for energy and materials. Global Water Rights looks forward to further involvement with ACB in the future.
"Climate Refugees: The Coming Global Crisis". A Lecture by Dr. Ross Michael Pink at KPU TALK Program.
By 2050 the U.N. predicts 500 million climate change refugees. The impact will be profound on many developing countries. This powerful and captivating topic will address the scenario in 3 countries: China, Thailand and India. Also discussed will be the issues of flooding, drought, health challenges and food security. Back by popular demand! Dr. Ross Pink lectured in International Law at the University of Toronto and currently is a professor in Political Science and International Relations at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. He has given several wonderful TALK courses in the past.

On May 09, 2016, Global Water Rights Co-founder, Dr. Ross Michael Pink presented a lecture entitled "Water Rights in South East Asia and India: Crisis and Opportunity" to the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore. The lecture is part of the Institute of Water Policy (IWP) Research Seminar series. Introducing Dr. Pink was Dr. Robert Wasson, visiting scholar from the  Australia National University. The lecture addressed the fascinating and critical issues of water security and climate change in Singapore, Thailand, India and China. Dr. Pink also highlighted major points from his new book, ‘Water Rights in Southeast Asia and India’. Valuable solutions were noted such as cloud seeding, rainwater harvesting and desalinization which offer water sustainability hope to hundreds of millions of people in the region. Water Rights Seminar in Yangon, Myanmar

Dr. Ross Michael Pink, Lecturer KPU and Co-Founder, Global Water Rights delivered a Presentation on Water Rights and Climate Change to the Ministry of Health, Government of Myanmar on May 3, 2016. The Presentation was attended by over 200 people and broadcast on Sky Net Television. The presentation was moderated by Dr. Khin Maung Lwin, the former Director, Ministry of Health and current Steering Committee member, Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Counci, Geneva. A reception followed that was hosted by Dr. Khin Thet Wai with the Ministry of Health.

"Water Rights: Opportunity and Crisis" Lecture at School of Global Studies, Thammasat University
On April 26, 2016, Our Co-Founder, Dr. Ross Michael Pink presented an engaging lecture at School of Global Studies at Thamassat University in Thailand. His presentation highlighted water security and climate change issues affecting Thailand, India and China. Dr. Pink addressed dramatic challenges facing three billion people on human rights, economic development, food security and health. The presentation also addressed solutions such as cloud-seeding, desalinization and rainwater-harvesting.

Global Water Rights participated at the United Nations University and Institute for Water, Environment and Health (UNU-INWEH) symposium at McMaster University in Hamilton Ontario, November 25th-26th, 2013
